  1. Global Workshare Configuration can be re-initiated at this time. For steps to upgrade Smart 3D configurations in a Global Workshare environment with the 13.1 release, see Consolidate the Global Workshare Configuration.

  2. For upgrade of Change Management models used for integration with HxGN SDx, it is highly recommended to allow Share service to process all modifications and synchronize each in progress Change Action using Project Operations command before continuing integrated workflows with SDx.

    1. Re-establish registration to SDx, if required.

    2. Utilize the Configure Share Service tool to ensure each Change Management model will be picked up by the Integraph Smart 3D Share Service.

    3. Start the Integraph Smart 3D Share Service and use SDx Synchronization Status Monitor to ensure all modifications are processed to SDx. If there are errors, attempt to resolve before continuing this workflow. At times, the Re-Synchronize command may be utilized to successfully share objects in error state.

    4. Define workspace in the Change Management model and select Project > Project Operations.

    5. In the Project Operations dialog, select the Primary option beside View by text and select all Change Actions in the list. Select Evaluate and allow this to finish. Select Process. Ensure all Change Actions are "In Sync" to continue.

    6. In the Project Operations dialog, select the Subscribed option beside View by text and select all Change Actions in the list. Select Evaluate and allow this to finish. Select Process. Ensure all Change Actions are "In Sync" to continue.

    7. Repeat workflow for any additional Change Management models.

    8. In SDx Web Client, select Integration > 3D Work Area Definition. Select the Actions menu beside the external Work Area Definition and select Apply Filter to Work Area. Allow this to process fully by monitoring the Notifications area available on the left-hand pane of SDx Web Client.

    9. Run the Synchronize Work Area from SDx command for the primary Change Management model.

    10. Run the Synchronize Work Area from SDx command for any additional Change Management models.

    11. If any Change Actions failed to synchronize in any Change Management model prior to running Synchronize Work Area from SDx command, attempt to synchronize these Change Actions again using Project Operations.

  3. After upgrade of standard models where previously generated SIO objects are being prepared for share to HxGN SDx, it is highly recommended to process all existing SIO data using the new repair commands delivered in S3D 13.1 and documented in the Prepare Smart 3D Handover model data for Project As-Built section in online documentation.

    There are many enhancements available for ISIP 17 translations and S3D 13.1 SIO generation. Therefore, it is recommended to re-translate source files using ISIP 17 and regenerate SIO data again in S3D 13.1 for optimal functionality. This should be done only if there was not a significant amount of post-processing done on already existing data.

  4. Review each Appendix and determine if further actions need to be completed.

    All of the Appendixes are optional and are not required to proceed with production activities.
