Define Plane using Offset from Plane - Intergraph Smart 3D - Help

Select Offset from a Plane .

In the model or Workspace Explorer, select the base plane to offset the new slab from.

In the Offset box, type the offset distance from the plane.

You can also use the Step box on the PinPoint Ribbon. Enter a value, and then move the pointer in the graphics view. The offset follows the pointer, incrementing by the step value that you specified.
