Provides options for reviewing and updating nesting data in the Smart 3D model. The software opens this dialog when you run the Nesting Report command.
Filter
Displays the filter the software uses to retrieve nesting objects. A default filter (NestingReportFilters - Filter.xml) is delivered with the software. The .xml file is located in the [Product Folder]\3DRefData\SharedContent\StructManufacturing\SMS_SCHEMA\NestingReport folder.
Apply Filter
Retrieves the nesting data that meets the specified filter criteria.
Save Filter
Saves any changes that you have made to the filter.
Filter Name
Specifies the name of the filter. The default filters defined in the NestingReportFilters - Filter.xml file are listed below.

Nested Plates - Nested object where PartType is equal to Plate.

All Nested Objects - All nested objects.

Deleted Profiles - All Deleted Nested Profiles.

Plate Parts - All Manufacturing Plates.
Filter Type
Specifies the type of filter to use.
System
Use a system-defined query.
SQL
Use a SQL query.
Custom
Build the query based on conditions defined in the NestingReportFilters - Filter.xml file.
Execute Action
Performs the action specified by Report Type.
Report Type
Identifies the action that the software performs when you click Execute Action.
Delete
Remove the selected nesting data from the software. The nesting data, the Nesting tab (on the Manufacturing Plate Part Properties Dialog), and the relationship with the manufacturing object are deleted together.
Reset
Initialize the selected nesting data.
Update
Regenerate the manufacturing output .xml file. If NestingFilePath is not defined in the catalog, the software generates the .xml file in the local Temp folder.
Alma-RemnantReport
Generate a Remnant report at the machine on which the Alma nesting system is installed.
DB Server
Specifies the name of the database server.
Site
Specifies the name of the Site database for the active Smart 3D project.
Model
Specifies the name of the active Smart 3D project (model).
Objects
Displays a list of nesting data that meet the criteria of the applied filter.
Nesting Service
Controls the Nesting Service. Select the check box to turn on the service. Turning on this service requires you to also specify InputXML and OutputXML files. To disable the service, clear the check box.
InputXML
Specifies the input loopback .xml file that the software passes to the Nesting Service to update nesting data. This option is available only when you select Nesting Service.
Output XML
Specifies the .xml file to which the Nesting Service records results data. This option is available only when you select Nesting Service.
Execute Nesting Service
Runs the Nesting Service using the command arguments defined in the specified input and output .xml files.
