The StructMfgTemplateProcessAndMarking_Profile.xls workbook defines the process and marking definition rules and symbol parameters related to profile face templates. The workbook is delivered to the [Product Folder]\ShipCatalogData\BulkLoad\DataFiles\StructManufacturing folder and is bulkloaded into the Catalog.

Definition Section

PartClassType

Class type SmartOccurrence defined on the PartClassTypes sheet of [Product Folder]\ShipCatalogData\BulkLoad\DataFiles\AllShipCodeLists.xls. Do not modify.

Name

Name of the smart class as it appears in the Catalog task.

SelectionRule

ProgID of the smart occurrence rule used by the smart class.

SCType

Code list value for the smart class type defined internally by the software. Do not modify.

SCSubType

Code list value for the smart class subtype defined internally by the software. Do not modify.

oa:[parameter name]

Occurrence attribute that places the named catalog attribute on the bracket Parameters tab on the Properties dialog box. The parameter also appears in the Head section.

Head Section

Name

Name of the object as it appears in the Catalog task.

SymbolDefinition

2D symbol file associated with the smart item. Parameters correspond to symbol parameters in this file.

Definition

ProgID of a definition class module within the smart occurrence rules.

ParameterRule

ProgID of a parameter class module within the smart occurrence rules.

TemplateProcessProfile Sheet

Side

The side value passed in to the symbol. This is the side on which the template set is applied.

Type

The type value passed in to the symbol. Types include frame, centerline, perpendicular, perpendicularXY, and stern/stem.

MinHeight

The minimum height of the template.

MaxHeight

The maximum height of the template.

Orientation

The orientation value passed in to the symbol. Orientations include along frame, perpendicular, and normal to the base frame.

Direction

The direction value passed in to the symbol.

Position

Positions at which templates are to be placed. It could be at Frames, at Even Distance, or at Edges.

Extension

Value and method of extension. It can be Fixed Value or Offset based (Case1 and 2 below).

BasePlane

The base plane value passed in to the symbol. The base plane is normal to the profile.

TemplateService

The template service value passed in to the symbol.

UserDefinedValues

Provides customization of various data used in service. An example is whether to apply a margin.

TemplateNaming

Provides the Template Naming Rule.

TemplateMarkingProfile Sheet

The following parameters are set to use fixed values, rule-based values, or to be ignored:

SideMark

For future use.

SeamMarks

Creates marks at seam locations at both ends of each template.

BaseCtlLineMark

Creates a mark at the intersection of the template with the base control line.

SightLineMark

Creates a mark on the top line of the template at some distance from the top base control line.

ShipDirectionMark

Creates a mark indicating the ship direction.

LabelMark

For future use.

FrameMarks

Creates marks of intersecting frames.

KnuckleMarks

Creates marks of intersecting knuckles with the template bottom line.

ReferenceMarks

Creates marks of intersecting reference curves with the template bottom line.

TemplateMarks

Creates marks of intersecting templates with the template.

CustomMarks

Creates any other marks based on rule.
