    Graphically define the offset:

    1. Click Offset Lock to change the option to unlocked Com_Unlock ICON.

    2. Move the cursor to the required location and click to move the plane and plane coordinate system o the new location. This changes the Offset Lock Com_Unlock ICON to locked , and displays the offset value in the Offset box.

    3. Type a new value in the Offset box if you need to change the offset distance from the plane.

  4. To move the plane independent of its previous definition, see Move a defined plane.

  • You can graphically define the offset with the best precision by also using PinPoint Command.

  • By moving the pointer back and forth over the base plane in the graphic view, you can change the offset direction. You can also change the direction by changing the sign in the Offset box.

  • When Offset Lock is set to locked , the Offset value does not change when the pointer moves.
