The delivered lap weld parameter rules are very simple. They do not define bevels, only fillet. There are two lap welds possibilities, as described below.
Lap Weld 1
Lap weld 1 is selected if the thickness of the bounded object is less than 12 mm. It checks the thickness of the bounded and bounding parts. It then uses the following logic to define the fillet parameters.
Lap Weld 2
Lap weld 2 is placed with the thickness of the bounded object is greater than or equal to 12 mm. It gets the thickness of the bounding object, then uses the following calculation:
