  1. Click Place New Distributed Load Command .

  2. Select the members on which to place the load.

    Place Fully Distributed Load STEP SELECT MEMBER

  3. Click Accept .

  4. In the Position As option, select Relative.

    Place Concentrated Load Relative STEP SELECT RELATIVE

  5. In the Start Position box, define the start location of the load.

  6. Click Accept .

  7. In the End Position box, define the end location of the load.

  8. Click Accept .

    Place Partially Distributed Load STEP POSITIONS

  9. Select a load case for the distributed load. Use Load Cases Command to create new load cases.

  10. Specify options for the Load and Reference options. For more information on the Load and Reference options, see Learn more about Loads.

  11. Define the forces in the Start magnitude and End magnitude boxes.

  12. Click Finish.
