The Tools > Assembly Views > Show Assembly Sequence command uses assembly sequence information and manufacturing orientation (the orientation, or up-vector, of an assembly while being built) to show a step-by-step animation of the assembly sequence for a selected block and/or assembly. The animation displays in a separate window with a new private graphic view.
When the command is executed, the software displays a new window that includes the active view of the selected assembly or block from the Main window. During the animation, the software scales the view to fit the selected assembly. As the software moves through each step in the animation, items are added according to the defined assembly sequence. Grouped objects are added together; objects with no sequence information are added last. You can automatically run the sequence as defined using Sequence . You can also manually define a sequence using the ribbon.
