  1. Click Select on the vertical toolbar.

  2. Select Pipe Features in the Locate Filter.

  3. Select a feature from the Graphic View or the Workspace Explorer. You cannot select a branch feature or an end feature to disconnect.

  4. Click Tools > Utilities > Disconnect Command to disconnect the feature from the rest of the network. The software also deletes any mating parts or transitions at the boundary connections and removes the relationships between the feature and the rest of the network.

  5. When prompted, click Yes to open the disconnection log so you can view the disconnection details.

SHARED Tip Click Undo Disconnect Undo on the main ribbon to reverse the disconnection operation. You can also press CTRL+Z, or click Edit > Undo Disconnect.
