The 2D Symbols utility is delivered with the software and is used to create symbols representing profile cross-sections, brackets, slots, collars, end cuts, detailing features, and manufacturing features in the Molded Forms and Structural Detailing tasks; member cross-sections in the Structure task; and facilitate using these symbols in a modeling environment.
This document describes all of the 2D symbols that are delivered with the software. The symbol library is delivered to the SharedContent share in the [Reference Data Product Folder]\SharedContent folder.
You can create your own custom symbols using the 2D Symbols utility. To learn how to create 2D symbols, refer to the 2D Symbols User's Guide.
Two sets of 2D symbols are delivered: default and marine library. The default set
contains basic symbols suitable for prototyping. The marine library set provides a
more complete set of marine symbols.
