  1. Click Place Chute Shapes Command on the vertical toolbar.

  2. Select the belt profiles in the model.

  3. Click Sketch 2D for elevation layout .

    In the Workspace Explorer, the software selects L 0.000m, the origin plane on the Y-axis of the belt elevation system.

  4. Use Add Intersecting Item and Add Projection Item as needed to add items to Sketch 2D.

  5. Click Sketch 2D .

  6. Fit the view so that all the selected items display.

  7. Click Place 2D Chute Shapes Custom Command to display the Place 2D Chute Shapes Dialog.

    If the command does not display, you must first add the custom command. See Add custom commands to the Sketch 2D toolbar.

  8. Select a 2D shape from the Select 2D Symbol list, and place the shape on the belt profile. Continue to place shapes as needed.

  9. Define the remaining parameters, and then click Close.

  10. Click Finish to return to the 3D environment.

  11. Click Sketch 2D for side elevation layout .

    In the Workspace Explorer, the software selects L 0.000m, the origin plane on the Y-axis of the side belt elevation system.

  12. Click Sketch 2D .

  13. Place 2D chute shapes as previously described.

  14. Click Close.

  15. Select the parent system for the chute shape from the Select Parent list. If necessary, click More to display the Select System dialog, and then select the system.

  16. Set the Placement mode to Add,Modify.

  17. Click Finish to add the chute shapes to the model.
