Create Control Points Command - Intergraph Smart 3D - Help

Places one or more control points anywhere in the workspace, including at grid intersections.

The Material Handling task uses control points in general arrangement drawings of chutes, conveyors, gantries, and trusses.

When you create a control point, you must add it to the System hierarchy in the Workspace Explorer beneath a generic system . See New Generic System Command in the Systems and Specifications Help.

Create Control Points is similar to Insert > Control Point Command, except that it allows:

• More flexibility in control point placement

• Placement of multiple control points
