The workbooks listed below define country specific standard catalog profile cross sections used by Materials Handling. The workbooks are delivered to the [Product Folder]\MaterialsHandling\CatalogData\BulkLoad\DataFiles folder.
AISC_StructXsections.xls - American-standard catalog profile cross-sections
Australian_StructXsections.xls - Australian-standard catalog profile cross-sections
Chilean_StructXsections.xls - Chilean-standard catalog profile cross-sections
Chinese_StructXsections.xls - Chinese-standard catalog profile cross-sections
JIS_StructXsections.xls - Japanese-standard catalog profile cross-sections
Australian_StructXsections.xls is not bulkloaded into the delivered catalog. You can optionally bulkload it if Australian-standard profile cross-sections are needed.
American-standard profile cross-sections are bulkloaded into the delivered catalog. For more information, see Profile Cross-Sections Workbook in the Molded Forms Reference Data Guide.
The workbook is delivered with a worksheet for each type of cross section. Each worksheet defines a profile cross section class, the corresponding 2D symbol file, and properties in the catalog.
Defines attributes that apply to the entire cross-section type.
Class type "CrossSectionClass" as defined on the PartClassTypes sheet of the [Product Folder]\ShipCatalogData\Bulkload\DataFiles\AllShipCodeLists.xls file. Do not modify.
2D symbol file associated with the cross-section type. 2D symbol files are delivered to the [Reference Data Folder]\Symbols folder.
Cross-section type defined internally by the software. CrossSectionType is not displayed in the Catalog task. The name of the worksheet appears in the Catalog task browser in the software.
Standards organization or shape library for the cross-section type, as defined on the ReferenceStandard worksheet.
Specifies a graphic file for the part class. You can view this graphic in the Catalog task or on the Properties dialog box in the Molded Forms task in the software.
The value 1 defines the cross-section type as a built-up section. This attribute is optional.
Defines properties for individual profile cross-section sizes.
Name of the profile cross-section size as it appears in the Catalog task.
This property is not used. Do not modify.
Physical attributes defined in the catalog, such as web length, flange thickness, and fillet radius. Individual physical attributes are not listed here. Physical attributes correspond to symbol parameters in the 2D symbol file defined by SymbolDefinition.
Mechanical properties used in structural analysis and defined in the catalog, such as moment of inertia, section modulus, and radius of gyration. Individual properties are not listed here.
Unique number to identify the profile origin. The OriginKeyPoint corresponds with the key point numbering conventions in the cross-section symbol file. For more information, see Key Point Numbering Conventions and Creating Profile Cross Sections common Tasks in the 2D Symbols User's Guide.
Unique number to identify the direction of the profile X axis. The XDirectionKeyPoint corresponds with the key point numbering conventions in the cross-section symbol file. Unique number to identify the direction of the profile Y axis. The YDirectionKeyPoint corresponds with the key point numbering conventions in the cross-section symbol file.
