What's New in Isogen Isometric Drawings - Intergraph Smart 3D - Help - Hexagon

The following changes have been made to Isogen Isometric Drawings.

Hot Fix and Service Pack Updates

• Added information about deleting records from the Issue Tab (Properties Dialog). (1014151)

• Added Placement Type to the Place a Label Ribbon controls. Added the Modify Label Ribbon for editing drawing labels. (2179954)

• The software now saves Drawings message log files to a unique name based on the Windows Process Identifier (PID). For batch actions, the log file names are based on the PID and the timestamp. Previously, Drawings messages were saved to the Drawings.log file. See Log Files in Troubleshooting Drawings and Reports. (3581337)

• You can now switch borders for packages using the Edit Package Command. (3578738)

• You can now switch multiple borders at the folder level and at the component level using the new Switch Border Command. (3581337)

• Updates have been made to the workflow examples showing the Switch Border Dialog and the Drawings Batch Dialog in Switch a border and Switch a border using Drawings Batch topics. (3978152)

• You can revise and share 2D drawings to a registered HxGN SDx® web-based server for integrated workflows. See Revise with SDx Command and Share Documents Command. (P1 CP:354120)

• To support as-built drawings capabilities, four new isometric drawing styles are now delivered with the software: Iso_AsBuilt_Demolition, Iso_AsBuilt_WBSDemolition, Iso_AsBuilt_Pipeline and Iso_AsBuilt_WBS. • The software now performs a full update when you change the default baseline date to a later date and then update the drawing. Previously, changing the default baseline to a later date generated an incremental update when you updated the drawing, and you had to update the drawing a second time to generate a full update. • You can now add related reference or additional callout text for a detail envelope during any stage of creation (before or after an update). See Edit Detail Envelope Ribbon. (P2 CP:361974)

• Added a workflow for using the Exclude By Label property to Exclude parts from the material list.

• The following changes are specific to the isometric drawing properties supported by the software.

  • You can use Exclude By Label to exclude parts from the material list using a label. (P3 CP:332356)

  • You can use General.DisableTapToTeeStub to disable the default behavior of the software to treat taps on pipe as set-on tees. (P3 CP:343001)

• Added a workflow for creating a label that shows demolished Smart Interop Objects within revision clouds on the isometric drawing. See Create a label that represents demolished Smart Interop Objects. (P3 CP:350914)
