Standard reports

In Isogen Configuration, Drawing Manager.Reports organizes all the standard reports that Isogen is able to output during isometric drawing generation.

IsogenReports_Global

In addition to the global Reports panel, the Materials, Welds, Spools, and Cut Pieces categories each contain a content-specific subset of report types. For example, you can use Welds and Joints.Reports (1) to define the weld summary and site weld information reports, while Spools.Reports (2) enables you to define the spool information report.

Isogen Configuration simplifies the process for configuring standard Isogen reports. After you select a report type, the software displays the Report Definition panel so you can quickly define the report file format and specify the content and layout of the attributes to include.

Custom reports

Isogen's advanced reporting feature, Isogen Reporting, is a powerful that improves the isometric content and reporting information from the piping data. Isogen Reporting has in-built post processor, called the POD Graphics Processor. The POD Graphics Processor is a data-driven application that helps to customize Isogen-generated drawings and produce custom reports. Isogen runs the POD Graphics Processor at an intermediate point in the overall drawing generation process. During the creation of graphics, a temporary Piping Object Data (POD) file is created. This POD file contains, in a neutral format, all the graphics vectors and the text that is converted to the user-specified format in the final isometric drawing output.
