You can view the progress of the synchronize processes between SDx and Smart 3D. During the synchronize to SDx process, you can monitor the status of the synchronization operation for completeness and for errors.
-
Before you can monitor the progress of any synchronize process, the Smart 3D project administrator must configure the servers to monitor.
-
If needed, your project administrator can configure the SDx Synchronization Status Monitor to send email notifications to one or multiple accounts regarding failures during synchronization.
-
The software displays the synchronize status from the time you start the SDx Synchronization Status Monitor. It does not monitor the status from the time the synchronize to SDx process was started.
-
Click Integration > SDx Synchronization Status Monitor Command to open the SDx Synchronization Status Window.
-
The Sync to SDx and Sync from SDx progress bars show the status for the current processes.
You can drag column headers to re-arrange the display, or you can click the column picker
and then select which columns to display.
-
To view the synchronization details for a specific model, select its name in the Model Name column. The software shows the related information in the Details, Synchronize to SDx Status, and Synchronize from SDX Status panes.
-
To generate a status report, click Synchronize to SDx Status Report
in the Synchronize to SDx Status panel to open the Report Settings Dialog. See Generate a Synchronize to SDx Status report.
-
If the synchronize from SDx operation fails, click Restart Synchronize from SDx
in the Synchronize from SDx Status panel to restart the process on a selected model. Restart Synchronize from SDx
displays only when the operation fails.
-
When you have finished, close the utility.
-
If new models are added, click Refresh at the bottom of the window to update the display and see the new models.
-
The synchronization status for each model is updated every 30 seconds.
