If you are not familiar with importing and converting data to Smart Interop Objects, see the topic for your environment, listed below.

Smart Interop Objects generated from PDS data and PDMS data might not have the necessary relationships between a connected route and support. For data imported from PDS or PDMS, you must perform a detect and repair process for any supports that have missing relationships with supported or supporting Smart Interop Objects.

Structured supports with missing relationships do not display in As-Built pipeline drawings. Additionally, the software displays interference markers between Smart Interop Object supports with missing supported or supporting relationships. The software removes the interference markers when a SIO support is connected to supported or supporting Smart Interop Objects. See Work with Project As-Built and SDx in Intergraph Smart 3D Project Management.

Run the Detect and Repair Hangers Missing Relationships Custom Command to correct this issue for Smart 3D. This custom command creates the relationships described below.

SIOSupportComponentHasSupportedObject

Creates a relationship between the Smart Interop Object support component and the supported structured object that is connected to that component.

SIOSupportComponentHasSupportingObject

Creates a relationship between the Smart Interop Object support component and the supporting structured object that is connected to that component.

SIOSupportHasSupportedObject

Creates a relationship between the Smart Interop Object support and the supported structured object when the support has no support components. The available supported objects depend on the range of the support.

SIOSupportHasSupportingObject

Creates a relationship between the Smart Interop Object support and the supporting structured objects when the support has no support components. The available supported objects depend on the range of the support.
