You must map custom properties, interfaces, and classes to the HxGN SDx2 Common schema using HxGN Smart Admin. This involves creating a change request, relating the custom properties to the new change request, and then regenerating the common schema in HxGN SDx2.

Create a Change Request

Launch HxGN Smart Admin and sign in using the appropriate credentials defined in your Authorization Server (SAM/OKTA).

Select the Data Model Administration feature set.

Select Create Common Schema Change Request.

Add the details for the change request, and then select Finish.
Prepare Your Change Request

In your To Do List, select Common Schema Change Request.

Select the Prepare Common Schema CR workflow step, and then select Actions
> Prepare Common Schema Change Request.

Select options
, and then select Manage Related Information.

In Relationship Builder > Pins > New Items, select the schema objects required for the change request, and then select Relate.
For example, relate the enum list types, enums, interface definitions, and property definitions.

In Prepare Schema Change Request, select Complete.
Regenerate the Common Schema
Regenerate the common schema to ensure that an updated version of the common schema is used when authoring tools share or synchronize.

Select Home
on the sidebar to return to the home page.

Select the Data Model Administration feature set.

Select Common Schema Change Requests to list all change request items in HxGN SDx2.

Review all the schema objects related to the change request.

From the Actions
menu, select Regenerate Common Schema.

When you receive the prompt, select Yes to regenerate the schema.
