Synchronize the SIOMap File and Common Schema - Intergraph Smart 3D - Update 1 - Administration & Configuration - Hexagon

Use the Schema Management module in the Smart Engineering Manager (SEM) Web Client to change the SIOMap file and the Smart 3D Catalog schema for any custom properties, interfaces, and classes added to the HxGN SDx2 Common schema. The basic steps are listed below. In the Smart Engineering Manager Web Client Help, see User Interface and Integrated Schema Management Workflow topics for details.

1. Launch the Smart Engineering Manager Web Client by entering the URL with the syntax: https://machinename.domain.com/SEM3.0/ in your web browser.

2. Enter your credentials to sign in.

3. Select a site on the Smart Engineering Manager Sites page.

4. Select a plant from the list of available plants for the selected site, and then click OK.

5. Open the Schema Management module.

6. On Schema Management, select Integrated.

7. Scope and load the entities to see a list all the custom properties on the Common schema (Source) side.

8. Compare the source and target schema to determine which entities (properties, interfaces, and classes) need to be mapped.

9. Map the source and target schema to create and map custom properties for the Smart 3D schema to the Common schema in HxGN SDx2, and then review the results.
