Smart 3D supports PDS and PDMS data, which can then be synchronized with an HxGN SDx2 centralized repository. Setting up this data sharing pathway involves translating data to Smart Models, and then converting that model data to Smart 3D Smart Interop Objects (SIOs). The SIOs are lightweight, fit-for-purpose objects based on a common schema designed for integration with HxGN SDx2. This Common Schema, also called the Smart InterOp (SIO) schema, defines all the objects and relationships supported for HxGN SDx2 integration. The common schema enables all tools to communicate in a single schema format for optimum data synchronization.
