These properties define the geometry of a beam clamp.

For these properties, millimeters (mm) is the default unit of distance. Use "in" at the end of the dimensional value to specify inches.

IJUAHsBeamClamp::LeftClipShape

Specifies the name of the beam clip shape that is placed on the left side of the steel. If no value is specified then there will not be any left clip in the beam clamp.

For more information on beam clip shape, see Beam Clip Shape.

IJUAhsBeamClampGap::LeftClipGap

Specifies the gap between steel and left clip. If this value is zero, then there is no gap between the clip and the steel.

IJOAhsBeamClampHOff::LeftOffsetH

Specifies the horizontal offset where the RodEnd1 port needs to be placed on left clip. Both, positive and negative values are allowed. If LeftOffsetH is not provided then the RodEnd1 port is at bottom.

If the LeftOffsetH value is positive,

If the LeftOffsetH value is negative,

IJOAhsBeamClampVOff::LeftOffsetV

Specifies the Vertical offset from where the RodEnd1 port needs to be placed on left clip. It is used to locate the J Bolt and Left / Right Bolts. Both, positive and negative values are allowed.

If the LeftOffsetV value is positive,

If the LeftOffsetV value is negative,

IJUAHsBeamClamp::RightClipShape

Specifies the clip shape to be placed on the right side of the steel. If the RightClipShape value is not specified, no right clip is placed on the beam clamp.

For more information on beam clip shape, see Beam Clip Shape.

IJUAhsBeamClampGap::RightClipGap

Specifies the gap between steel and the right clip. If this value is not set, then the default value assigned is zero and there is no gap between the right clip and the steel.

IJOAhsBeamClampHOff::RightOffsetH

Specifies the horizontal offset from where the RodEnd2 Port needs to be placed on right clip. Both, positive and negative values are allowed. If RightOffsetH is not provided then the RodEnd2 Port will be at bottom port.

If the RightOffsetH value is positive,

If the RightOffsetH value is negative,

IJOAhsBeamClampVOff::RightOffsetV

Specifies the vertical offset from where the RodEnd1 port needs to be placed on right clip. The offset is calculated between the origin of the clip, the Top port (the blue colored point on the left shape). If RightOffsetV is not provided, then the RodEnd1 Port will be on horizontal offset (if RightOffsetH is provided) from Bottom port.

If the RightOffsetV value is positive,

If the RightOffsetV value is negative,

IJUAhsBottomShape::BottomShape

Specifies the bottom shape of the beam clamp. A beam clamp can have one or two beam clips and an optional bottom shape. The value for this column is a codelist number, and valid codes are listed in the HS_S3DParts_Codelist.xls workbook in the hsBeamClampBotShape sheet.

IJUAhsGap1::Gap1

Specifies the gap between the two clip shapes. It is only applicable to P and Q type clip shapes.
