These properties are used to specify the side connection on the pipe clamp body.

IJUAhsShapeType::ShapeType

Enter the codelist number of the shape type as defined in the hsShapeType sheet in the HS_S3DParts_Codelist.xls workbook.

  • 1 - Round

  • 2 - Square (also used for rectangle)

  • 3 - Hex

IJUAhsThickness3::Thickness3

Specifies the thickness of the side connection shape from the outside face of the clamp, to the outside face of the side connection.

IJUAhsWidth5::Width5

Specifies the outside dimension of the side connection shape.

  • 1 - Round

  • 2 - Square

  • 3 - Hex

IJUAhsWidth6::Width6

Creates a rectangle shape instead of a square for NutShape 2 (square). If this value is zero or not specified, NutShape 2 becomes square shape.

IJUAhsAngle2::Angle2

For ClampCfg 2, Angle2 rotates the clamp side port around its z-axis. If it is zero, the clamp side port is oriented the same as the pipe centerline port. When this clamp side port is used to represent a lug or a bolt/pin connection, the orientation is important. When it is used for a hole, or a female-threaded hole, the orientation is not needed although it can be used. Typically, you can only use 0 (default) or 90-degrees, depending on the actual orientation of the pin/bolt or lug in the catalog part.

ClampCfg 3, Angle2 determines the angle between the two ports on the side of the clamp. The port orientation also gets angled to simplify joints in assemblies. Angle2 must be less than 180.
