An object does not have a related PlatePartGeometry.

Severity

Fatal.

Detailed Description

A Detailed PlatePart, StandAlonePlatePart, SmartPlate, or a CollarPart is missing a relationship to its geometry: Missing the StructToGeometry relationship to PlatePartGeometry for StandalonePlatePart, SmartPlate, CollarPart, and detailed plate part.

In some instances, the part exists with no other relationship. In this case, the part should be deleted.

Possible Cause

Unknown.

Possible Impacts

  • The object will not display or highlight.

  • The weight and center of gravity (CoG) may not be calculated and will be invalid.

What You Should Do

If the object can be updated:

  1. Open the model.

  2. In the Molded Forms task, select the object, and modify it, if necessary. Or, select the object, and perform a re-computation to update it.

  3. Re-run the Check Database Integrity custom command and the DBIntegrity report.

  4. If the object is still posted, contact Smart 3D Support.

If the object is flagged for deletion:

  1. Ask your database administrator to back up the model.

  2. Supply all information possible that may have led to this situation, and submit this information along with the backup to Smart 3D Support.

  3. Delete the object using one of the following methods:

    • Select the object in the Workspace Explorer, and delete it.

    • Run the Clean Database custom command to delete the object.
