Provides options for placing construction graphics to represent objects that you have not yet placed in the model.

System

Selects the system under which the graphics are grouped.

Graphic Type

Displays graphic options. Select from the Line placeline, Line String linestringcmd, Arc Construction Graphics Arc command, Circle Place a Circle, and Rectangle Construction Graphics rectangle glyph commands.

Plane

Selects the plane on which to place the selected construction graphic. Select from Plane/Elevation View Plane Elevation View ICON, East-West Plane East West View, North-South Plane North South View, and No Plane No Plan ICON.

Point

When used with the Line placeline and Line String linestringcmd commands, Point specifies the Start point startpoint or End point end point of the selected construction graphic. The Draw command also allows you to specify points when placing other construction graphics, as described below.

Draw

Designates specific points by which to place the selected construction graphic. Select point options from a list.

These options are specific to the Arc Construction Graphics Arc command, Circle Place a Circle, and Rectangle Construction Graphics rectangle glyph commands.

Arc Construction Graphics Arc command

By 3 points allows you to place an arc by specifying three points of reference. Use the Define start point of arc start point, Define point on arc second point on arc, and End point of arc Construction Grpahics end point of arc glyph commands to draw the arc.

By Center allows you to place an arc by specifying a central point of reference. Use the Center of arc Construction graphics place point by center start glyph, Define start point of arc second point on arc, and End point of arc Construction Grpahics end point of arc glyph commands to draw the arc.

Circle Place a Circle

By 3 points allows you to place a circle by specifying three points of reference. Use the Define first point on circle start point circle, Define second point on circle Construction Graphics circle cmd second point, and Define third point on circle Construction Grpahics end point of circle cmd commands to draw the circle.

By Center allows you to place a circle by specifying a central point of reference. Use the Center of Circle Construction Graphics circle center point glyph and Point on Circle Construction Graphics circle end point glyph commands to draw the circle.

Rectangle Construction Graphics rectangle glyph

By 3 points allows you to place a rectangle by specifying three points of reference. Use the First vertex of rectangle Construction Graphics rectangle first point glyph, Second vertex of rectangle Construction Graphics rectangle second point, and Define height by point of rectangle Construction Graphics rectangle third point glyph commands to draw the rectangle.

By 2 points and direction allows you to place a rectangle by specifying the point of direction. Use the Select point of direction Construction Graphics rectangle first point glyph, First vertex of diagonal Construction Graphics rectangle second point, and Second vertex of diagonal Construction Graphics rectangle third point glyph commands to draw the rectangle.

Finish

Ends a line string that you have just placed. This action is only available with the Line String linestringcmd command.

Name

Defines a name for the construction graphic that you have just placed.

Close

Closes the ribbon and returns you to the main window.
