The following changes have been made to the Common task.

Hot Fix and Service Pack Updates

  • Added the following Custom Commands:

    • Detect Discontinuous Runs and Topological errors. (P2 CP:374181)

    • Detect and Repair Run End relations in Smart Interop Objects (P2 CP:346739)

    • Purge VUE Extraction Control Data (P3 CP:389828)

  • Added the following Custom Commands:

    • Remove SDx Registration (2310825)

    • Update Duct Features Orientation (1744643)

    • Update Weight and Center of Gravity (2555304)

  • The new Update Cable Fill command updates the cable fill value for all the selected raceways (cable trays or conduits) or specific raceways through which the selected cables are routed. (P3 CP:379284)

  • The Generate SIO Utility supports transformation settings in a Smart Model from Smart Interop Publisher to specify its location within a site. For each translated Smart Model and Composite (.svf) Smart Model, Smart Interop Publisher generates an .iop file that Smart 3D and the Generate SIO Utility reads to obtain the required model location.   • The Route Smart Interop Diagnostics Command corrects the data inconsistency in the routing of Smart Interop object data (primarily piping). (3519183, 2019670, 3448721)

  • The Find Object by OID custom command has been replaced by the .net custom command View Smart Interop Object Unmapped Properties. See custom commands.

  • The following custom commands are no longer delivered with the software. (3759690 and 3759687)

    • Verify P&ID Integrity (ProgID: SP3DDisplayPIDService.VerifyPIDCmd)

    • Verify Seam Pattern to Split (ProgID: SplitCommands.VerifySeamPatternToSplit)

    The Check Database Integrity and Clean Database commands that had been previously listed are available in the Project Management Tools menu.

  • All references to Visual Basic (VB6) have been replaced with .NET (VB.NET or C#) code and examples.

  • You can correlate one D&ID duct run to multiple Smart 3D duct runs. See Correlate model objects with design basis objects. (4064054)

  • Removed the Bracketed aspect from the end cut types in the Format View Dialog. (4295512)

Version 13

  • The Copy SIO Pipe Run to Smart 3D Command enables you to create a native Smart 3D pipe run from a SIO pipe run. (P1 CP:368679)

  • Added the following Custom Commands:

    • Convert Smart Interop Object (P1 CP:349312)

    • Report Smart Interop Objects (Slabs and Walls) (P2 CP:349101)

    • Repair Smart Interop Objects (Slabs and Walls) (P2 CP:349101)

    • Synchronize Smart Interop Objects Unmapped Data to SDx (P2 CP:355548)

    • View Smart Interop Object Unmapped Properties (P3 CP:355507)

  • The Set Design Review Status Command enables you to set the state of a change action in SDx to Design Review. Doing so indicates to SDx that the related detailed design tasks are complete in Smart 3D. (P2 CP:353711)

  • The software now supports claim and release claim functionality for As-Built projects. Pertinent topics have been updated throughout the Help to reflect this enhancement. (P2 CP:347687)

  • The Project Operations command enables you to view, evaluate, and process As-Built projects. (P2 CP:347690)

  • The Undemolish command enables you to undemolish Smart Interop Objects that have been previously demolished. (P2 CP:351019)

  • The Demolish command enables you to demolish a select set of claimed Smart Interop Objects. (P2 CP:354994)

  • The software restricts cross project relationships that occur when performing a move operation in a Change Management model. See Move Command. (P2 CP:357380)

  • When working with a Change Management model, the software prompts you to set an active As-Built project if one does not exist. Setting an active project is mandatory before making design changes in the Change Management model. See Model in Define Workspace Dialog and Tasks Menu. (P2 CP:358793)

  • The new Ruler Labels Command enables you to display rulers for multiple axes of various coordinate systems in a view, and enables you to show or hide labels in a view. (P2 CP361965)

  • The new EndCutType aspect in the Format View Dialog allows you to display end cut glyphs for stiffener profile systems in Molded Forms. (P2 CP:362644)

  • With the new Transfer command, you can now transfer claimed objects and 2D documents from one active As-Built project to another. (P2 CP:369648)

  • The new Re-synchronize command enables you to mark data error objects for re-synchronization to SDx. (P3 CP:370862)

  • Added descriptions of the Auxiliary Wire and Auxiliary Solid aspects in the Format View Dialog. (P4 CP:375369)

  • Reorganized the table of contents to create the What do you want to do? section.
