Displays when you click View > Ruler Labels.

  • The software stores the options you define using the Ruler Labels Command in the session (.ses) file.

  • Coordinate systems with no planes in X, Y, or Z-direction are not listed in this dialog. Rulers cannot be displayed for these coordinate systems.

  • Press CTRL + SHIFT + L to hide all the labels for the active view. Press CTRL + SHIFT + L again to display the hidden labels.

  • Press CTRL + SHIFT + A to display fewer labels. This is helpful if you are working in a small space that contains numerous labels. This key combination calculates the number of labels to display and organizes them based on the zoom factor (see Zoom Area). Press CTRL + SHIFT + A again to exit this mode.

Workspace

Displays the coordinate systems present in the workspace.

Database

Displays the coordinate systems present in the database. This is the default setting if there are no selected coordinate systems.

Selected

Displays the selected coordinate systems. This is the default setting when you select at least one ruler option or one label option for any coordinate system.

Graphic View list

Displays a list of all open graphic views. Select a view from the list to apply ruler and label options to the selected view. You cannot select an individual graphic view if All Views is selected.

All Views

Applies the ruler and label options you have defined to all the graphic views, including any new graphic view created during the session. Clear the check box to select an individual view from the Graphic View list.

Name

Displays a list of coordinate systems. The list contents depend on whether you selected Workspace, Database, or Selected. Click the Name header to sort the coordinate system names in alphabetical order.

Com_Modern_Filter_Inactive

Opens a dialog that helps you restrict coordinate systems in the Name list using values and operators. Either click Select All or select coordinate systems individually, and then use the operators to show only those coordinate systems that contain rows matching the criteria you define. Use Filter and Clear Filter to apply or remove a filter.

Style

Specifies the label style. Styles are defined in the Frames.xml file delivered to the SharedContent\Xml\Labels folder. Select one of the following label styles from the list:
