Click Place Walls Command on the vertical toolbar.

Define the sketching plane. The sketching plane defines the bottom elevation of the wall.

Click Sketch 2D on the Place Wall Ribbon.

Select objects in the model that you want to see when sketching the wall path in the 2-D environment.

Click Draw . The 2D sketch orientation is based on the active coordinate system as defined in the PinPoint Command .

In the 2-D environment, draw the path of the wall. You can draw more than one wall path at a time in the 2-D environment.

In the 2-D environment, click Close .

Click Finish.

Set the wall system, type, composition, and other properties.

Optionally, click Select Boundaries to limit the height of the wall.

Click Finish to place the walls in the model.

The software maintains the same sketching plane and prompts you to select references for the next wall. Go back to step 4.

To define a new sketching plane, click Cancel to return to the main ribbon. Go back to step 2.
