Changes to the Smart 3D Reference 3D schema caused changes in R3D Equipment/R3D Equipment Component and R3D Nozzle relationships. If you created a label in previous versions of Smart 3D that contains R3D Equipment/R3D Equipment Component <-> R3D Nozzle relationships, you must re-define that relationship for the label. You can do this using one of the following methods:

  • Modify the label definition with the Catalog Label Editor. See Edit a Label.

    -OR-

  • Manually edit the label .rfq file. The example below shows a generated .rfq file for a label containing a Reference 3D pipe nozzle-to-equipment definition.

To edit the .rfq file so that the relationship is established, change IJR3DPipeNozzle to IJR3DNozzle.

Define the Unit of Measure

  1. In the Label Editor Dialog, select the label text in the Layout box and click Unit of Measure .

The Select Rule Dialog (Label Editor - Unit of Measure) displays.

  2. Click New or Properties .

The Unit of Measure Dialog (Label Editor) displays.

  3. Clear the Inherit from Session, Reports, Drawings check box to change the existing values and to type in a unit delimiter value.

  4. Define values for Primary and Secondary units.

  5. Type a value in the Unit Delimiter box.

  6. Click OK.

If you define a label with a unit delimiter, then you can find the .rfp file of the respective label template in the [Product Folder]\3DRefData\SharedContent\Labels\Types of Labels folder. For example, if you change the UOM (unit of measure) setting of Structure Linear Member Length, then the .rfp file of Structure Linear Member Length is changed. Every label has its own .rfp file.
