You can place flanges on tripping brackets in the Molded Forms task. The bracket flange is a separate symbol that takes the bracket symbol as an input. To make the bracket flange work, you must make changes to the tripping bracket symbol to provide the location of the flange.

  1. Open the tripping bracket symbol.

  2. On the Output layer, add a line that represents the edge of the bracket. This line is used to position the flange.

  3. Put the line into a group, and name the representation of that group FlangeEdge.

  4. At the end of the bracket edge, place two points. These points represent the nose of the bracket and will be used to position the flange.

  5. Name the points PointA, PointARef, PointB, and PointBRef as shown in the following figure.

  6. Group the four points together, and name the representation FlangePoints.
