The Data Stripper removes unnecessary information from data files and enables you to generate simpler isometrics: ones that include only that information that is pertinent for a specific situation. You can use the Data Stripper stand-alone or in conjunction with the System Builder to process any system that has been generated.

The Data Stripper can remove attributes (different types of specifications), information elements (messages, end connection information), and certain types of components from a data file. You can also remove components where the bore is within a user-specified range. This feature of the Data Stripper is intended for the removal of small bore pipe at the edges of larger bore pipeline.

After processing completes, the software saves the stripped files to a user-specified location. You can view results data on the Results tab.

Use caution when removing components based on bore. Misuse of this feature can result in useless output.
