Files

Lists the files selected for processing. The files listed here are the files you selected in the Main window tree view prior to opening the Strip Files dialog box.

When you select a child pipeline in a split file, the name of the original file is displayed. If multiple children of the same file are selected, the parent file name appears multiple times. During processing, the software gives each output file a distinct file name.

Settings

Lists all the types of data that that software is able to remove during processing. Data types are organized into four categories: Components, Information Elements, Pipeline Attributes, and Component Attributes. To remove all instances of a specified object, click the corresponding check box in the Settings list. To remove all components within a specified bore range, you must double-click All bore between, and complete the options in the Bore Range dialog box.

Alternately, right-click All bore between, and then select Configure to open the Bore Range dialog box.

Save

Saves the current settings to a user-specified location using the Save Data Stripper Configuration dialog box.

Load

Restores a set of previously saved settings. In the Open Data Stripper Configuration dialog box, navigate to and double-click the Data Stripper configuration file created using Save.

Reset

Clears all the settings in the dialog box.

The Save, Load, and Reset commands are also available by right-clicking anywhere in the Strip Data dialog box and then selecting the appropriate command on the shortcut menu.

Location

Specify where the resulting data files are stored. By default, the software saves the files in the Bin folder in the current Isometric project. You can type the full path location of an alternative location, or click Browse to navigate to an alternative location.

File Type

Select the output file format. You can choose POD, PCF, or IDF.

Label

Specify how to group the results on the Results tab. The tree view on the Results tab displays all the results data generated by the Data Stripper and the System Builder. Because this list can become very long, you can label the results of any given run so that differentiating between one set of results data and another is easier. You can type a label manually, automatically generate a label based on the current data and time, or specify not to use a label. By default, the Data Stripper uses the current date and time to label results data.
