The software uses validation functions before setting properties on items. The software checks the claim status before setting any values. If the item is claimed, the property can be changed. If the item is not claimed, the property cannot be changed. You can use the validation and calculation functions on drawing item type. The software
uses the same automation interface managing all other item types.
