  1. In the folder [Intergraph Batch Services Installation folder]\Core\Container\Bin\Assemblies\Release\, run ConfigureDrawingsBatch.exe.

  2. Select Yes, and then select OK.

    -OR-

    At a command prompt, type [Intergraph Batch Services Installation folder]\Core\Container\Bin\Assemblies\Release\ConfigureDrawingsBatch.exe silentmode and press ENTER.

    The software runs the command without displaying any message boxes. Error messages are written to the SP3DErrors.log file.

  • The silentmode optional command-line argument allows you to run ConfigureDrawingsBatch.exe as a batch script.

  • ConfigureDrawingsBatch.exe returns an exit state. Possible exit states are:

    You must be logged in as Administrator

    Operation cancelled by the user

    The batch server did not find an account mapping entry. For information about account mapping, see Configure Account Mappings

    5

    Intergraph Batch Services is not installed. For installation information, see Installing Intergraph Batch Services

    Microsoft Excel is not installed. For installation information, see Install Microsoft Office

    The software encountered a problem during registry modification

  • The printer name on the client computer must match the printer name on the batch server.

  • Every mapped account must open Microsoft Excel once on every batch server.

  • Microsoft Excel must have the same security settings that are necessary for interactive updates. Excel must be configured correctly for every IBS-mapped account on the batch server.

  • You must add the following entries to the system path for 3D model data documents to update:

    • [Product Folder]\CatalogData\PDSTranslator\bin

    • [Product Folder]\Common2D\Rad2d\Bin

    • [Product Folder]\Core\Container\Bin

    • [Product Folder]\Core\Container\Bin\S3DHost.exe

    • [Product Folder]\Core\Runtime

    • [Product Folder]\Core\Runtime64

    • [Product Folder]\Drawings\Middle\bin64

    • [Product Folder]\DrawingsIsometric\Alias\Core Components

    • [Product Folder]\DrawingsIsometric\Alias\Personal Isogen

    • [Product Folder]\FoulCheck\Middle\Bin

    • [Product Folder]\GeometryTopology\Runtime

    • [Product Folder]\ProjectMgmt\Tools\Bin

  • You must run the ConfigureDrawingsBatch utility each time you change mapped account settings.

  • If you are running 64-bit drawings batch services and Oracle, you must install the 64-bit Oracle client on the computer running the batch services.
