The following information is specific to the product being installed on-premises.

Open Services and determine the current status of the TCP/IP NetBIOS Helper service on your computer. Start that service if it is not already running.

Insert the Intergraph Batch Services DVD into your computer.

Double-click BatchServices_Setup.exe.

Select Start Setup on the Welcome page.

Type your name and company name.

Specify whether to run all jobs as the same user or use account mapping.
If you select Set up account mapping per user through Smart Batch Services, you must configure account mapping before you can submit jobs. Use Batch Manager to configure account mapping after setup is complete. For more information, see Configure Account Mappings.
If you select Run all jobs as same user to configure account mapping, define the user name and user name password under which jobs should run.

Review the default installation folder ($WindowsDrive:\Win32App\Ingr\Batch\).
If you plan to use this installation of Intergraph Batch Services with Plant Design System® (PDS), do not install Intergraph Batch Services to a folder path that contains spaces, such as c:\Program Files (x86)\Batch. Although Intergraph Batch Services supports spaces in folder paths, PDS does not.

On the License Agreement page, select your country.

Read the license agreement, and then select I agree to the license agreement and conditions.

Select Install.
Intergraph Batch Services is installed on your computer.

Select Finish.

Restart your computer.
You can find the batch job log files in the %temp%\SP3DBatchSvcTemp file on the batch
server computer.
