Baseline filters define the object types, properties, and references to include in a baseline type. For example, you can include Alarms and Tags in the Safety Critical baseline type. You can also configure the filters to include only the properties that you select for an object type.
Once you define the baseline filters in each baseline type, you then create a baseline by assigning one or more assets to a baseline type. You can use the Asset Model Development Kit (AMDK) to add, edit, delete, and run baselines. When you select a baseline in the list, the Baseline Management window displays the baseline details, such as the Basic properties, Definition, Version retention rules, and Previous Versions.
