Use the Integration option on each tool signature to enable or disable the ability to skip revision numbers. Set the Allow skipping revisions configuration in the SmartPlant Foundation Desktop Client to enforce the document revisions to be in the correct sequence as per the Revision Scheme selected in the Revise dialog box.

The following table lists the value and description for the Allow skipping revisions property:

Value

Description

True

Allows skipping of revisions. This is the default option.

False

Prevents skipping of revisions. You can use the Next Major command, Next Minor command, or the list options in the Revise in Tool section to select the next available revision number. If you want to revise a published document, you can either select the working revision or the immediate available major and minor revisions.

For a new or signed-off document, you must publish the revised document and then assign a new revision number for that document to be revised.

Only one major and one minor revision number can be used per revision.
