Setting up a Project for Export - EcoSys - 1.1 - Customization & Programming - Hexagon

Follow the steps below to setup a project for export to SAP:

1. Create the project header in SAP

2. Run the EcoSys Connect Job: SAP Project to Cost Object Category

3. Create a project in EcoSys. The EcoSys Project ID does not need to match the SAP Project ID.

4. In the EcoSys Project Setup screen:

   1. Assign the SAP project to the “SAP Project” field.

   2. Set the “SAP Project Export” field to “Y”

   3. Set the “SAP Mapping Method” to “Non-Mapped”. The project export currently only works with Non-Mapped projects.

      

5. In the EcoSys Project Structure screen, setup your WBS structure. The Cost Object ID should match the format that is compatible with SAP. Set the Cost Object Type to “WBS”.

   

6. Run the “SAP Project WBS Export” job. This will export the project structure to SAP.
