The SAP side of the SAP Connector is delivered as an SAP ABAP Transport Request. This is comprised of two files which need to be imported into the SAP environment by an SAP administrator.
This will create the necessary SAP ABAP objects required for the SAP Connector. This includes Dictionary Objects, Function Modules and Enterprise Services.
All objects are stored under the /INGR/ECOSYS package.
In addition, there needs to be a SAP user created which will be used for accessing all of the SAP API’s. For more information, see SAP User Permissions.
