P6 Connector offers different types of cost, units dates, and % complete fields. It is configured to use the most common fields for EcoSys integration. However, few clients might use a different P6 field than what is pre-configured. In such cases, you must make minor changes in the Connect Job.
Example
In the following example, the "P6 Activity to Task Import" job will be changed from using the Remaining Early Start Date to the Remaining Late Start Date.
This requires changing two steps within the job.

Add the field to the step reading the Activity data

Map the field in the step which writes the data to EcoSys.
Follow the steps below:

In the EcoSys Connect Job Management screen, edit the "P6 Activity to Task Import" job.

Find the step Read P6 WBS Activities.
The P6 API requires explicitly specifying the fields you want to retrieve, so you must change the field from Remaining Early Start Date to Remaining Late Start Date.

In the Step Inputs panel, find the Remaining Early Start Date from the drop-down and change it to Remaining Late Start Date.

Find the step "Write P6 WBS Activities to EcoSys"

In the Previous Step Output panel, find the field Remaining Late Start Date

Drag this field over to the p6RemainingStartDate in the "Step Inputs" panel.
