Create a new EcoSys Project from P6 - EcoSys - 1.0.01 - Help - Hexagon PPM

To create a new EcoSys Project from P6, follow the steps below:

1. In P6 Connector, set the P6 Project Code called "EcoSys Import" to "New".

2. From EcoSys, run the Connect Job Action called "ITG P6 Create Projects from P6".

   This will look for any P6 Project with an "EcoSys Import" value of "New" and create those Projects in EcoSys. It will automatically populate the "P6 Project" Cost Object Category.

3. Set the "P6 Project Import" Cost Object Category to "Y", and set any other required EcoSys fields.

   The new EcoSys Project will be created with the P6 Project ID. However, the EcoSys Project ID can be changed, if desired. The "P6 Project" Cost Object Category must be set to the P6 Project ID to maintain the mapping.

Prerequisites

A new Project Code Type in P6 called "EcoSys Import" must be created with the values of: New, Active, and Inactive.
