Creating the open ports justification node in your asset hierarchy allows global access to all Recon assets. The open port justifications define which ports and programs to allow through a corporate firewall. To display the justification node in your asset hierarchy, use Configuration Manager to create the node in the Cyber Integrity asset.

To create the open port justification node:

  1. Open Configuration Manager on the Integrity Server. To open the Configuration Manager, run the following file: InstallPath\DataCollector\ConfigurationManager.exe.

  2. Select CyberIntegrityInventory from the list.

  3. In the right pane, select CyberIntegrity under Asset.

  4. Select the Object Type check box and select Justification Group from the list.

  5. Select the Allow adding and deleting objects check box.

  6. Type a name in the Objects box, and then click Save.

  7. In the Properties box, type Settings for Open Port Justification in the Title PropertyValue field.

  8. In the Format of node text field, type <Title>. You need to enter the angle brackets < > in the field.

  9. Click Save.

  10. Drag the object to the root folder in the left pane.

  11. Right-click in the left pane, and then click Refresh to view the new node.
