The following data is updated from Jovix to the integrated MTR by Reservation in Smart Materials

  • Transfer quantity

  • To location

  • New status

  • MTR is Posted

Triggering Points

  1. When a Picklist corresponding to the integrated MTR by Reservation is set to Complete in Jovix mobile app.

  2. When MTR status is changed to In Progress (disallowing user to recall MTR ownership from Jovix to Smart Materials)

Prerequisites

  • To post MTR in Smart Materials, the project default ZI_JX_MTRU must be set.

MTR Integration

  • Integrate MTR by Reservation from Smart Materials to Jovix.

  • In Jovix mobile app, the user picks these MTR Items and updates its pick quantity, new location, new status.

  • During picking a Picklist is created in Jovix against this MTR and MTR items are added as picklist items and the MTR status is set to In-progress in Jovix.

  • When MTR is in In-Progress state in Jovix then, in Smart Materials users cannot recall MTR ownership from Jovix and hence user is restricted from making changes to this MTR in Smart Materials.

  • Once picking of materials is done then following happens in Jovix:

    • Picked quantity is updated as Qty Transferring

    • corresponding picklist is also listed in Jovix MTR items

  • Once picking is done, user Completes the Picklist in Jovix mobile app by selecting the above picklist item from MTR items screen then in Jovix,

    • Picklist status gets updated to Completed_MTR.

    • corresponding MTR status is updated to Completed.

    • Picked location/status are updated against new location and new status in MTR items.

    • These MTR item changes are integrated to Smart Materials.

  • During the Jovix to Smart Materials integration:

    • From Jovix, the "transfer quantity", "to location", and the "new status" are integrated to Smart Materials. The MTR is then posted in Smart Materials.

    • If a material status from Jovix is not available in Smart Materials then, a new status is created and assigned to the MTR line item in Smart Materials.

    • If a Jovix "to location hierarchy" does not exist in Smart Materials, then the warehouse and location are created and "Use for Issues" is checked against warehouse.

    • Additionally, this warehouse is assigned to the user defined in ZI_JX_MTRU.

    The length of the warehouse/location name cannot exceed 30 characters.

MTR Integration failure

  • If the integration fails, MTR status in Jovix is set to In-progress and reason for failure is added to Jovix MTR Notes.

  • User can also view the detail error in the logs available in Smart Materials Web under Jovix Integration Reports.

  • User can fix the errors and re-integrate the MTR changes from Jovix by marking MTR to Completed from the Jovix Web. Select MTR > Actions > Complete MTR.

  • User cannot set the picklist to Completed again if it is already in Completed_MTR status in Jovix.

Log files

You can check the integration status and logs in the Jovix Integration Report in Smart Materials and Smart Materials Web. The log files are saved in the path defined under the DBA setting LOG_FILE_DEST.

  • The naming format of the log files for MTR that are set to Completed is as follows:

    JOVIX_MTR_POST<MTR_ID>_<Date in dd-mm-yyyy_Time in hhmmss>.log

  • The naming format of the log files for status associated with MTRs in Smart Materials is as follows:

    JOVIX_MTR_STATUS-INPROGRESS<MTR_ID>_<Date in dd-mm-yyyy_Time in hhmmss>.log
