This section discusses integration of catalog items (Idents) from Smart Materials to Jovix.

Catalog items assigned to POs and MIRs (MIR by BOM, MIR by Direct Issue, MIR by Direct Issue, and MIR by Reservation) are integrated to Jovix.

All the associated idents of POs and MIRs are transferred to Jovix as catalog items:

PO - when the PO is integrated with Jovix, the idents of split tags that are created in Smart Materials Expediting are also integrated along with transfer of PO ownership to Jovix.

MIRs - when the MIR by BOM, MIR by Direct Issue, or MIR by Reservation is approved.

If catalog item exists in Jovix, then the existing catalog item is linked to the PO/MIR.

If a catalog item does not exist in Jovix, then a new catalog item is created and linked to the PO/MIR.
Catalog item information received from Smart Materials must not be modified in Jovix.

Log files
You can check the integration status and logs in the Jovix Integration Report in Smart Materials and Smart Materials Web. The log files are saved in the path defined under the DBA setting LOG_FILE_DEST.
