To set up a link to a webcam, you must provide a link to a static image. You can also add a link to a live stream.

  1. Click Home .

  2. At the bottom of the window, click Expand on the Home panel.

  3. On the Project webcam widget, click Add.

  4. Give the webcam a name.

  5. Add the link to a static image. For the image to appear on the widget, the link must go to a Multivista iFrame or OxBlue system.

  6. If you want, add a link to a live stream.

What's the difference between a static image and a live stream?

    Static images

A static image is a recent picture from a webcam. Static images are updated from the live stream every so often. How often is determined by the webcam setup.

The Webcam widget shows different things for the static image, depending on what the link is to:

    • The picture itself appears on the widget if the link is to a Multivista iFrame or OxBlue webcam. Clicking the picture opens it in a separate window.

For more information on Multivista, see www.multivista.com.

    • Otherwise, the webcam icon appears on the widget. Clicking the icon opens it in a separate tab.

    Live streams

A live stream is just that—live, streaming video from a webcam. The live stream link appears on the bottom of the widget, and clicking it opens the webcam in a separate tab.

  7. Click Add.
