Only work packages assigned to you appear in My Work Packages. If you know a work package is assigned to you, here's how to find it in the list.

Filter based on a certain category

  1. Click Schedule Management > My Work Packages .

  2. Click Filter next to the search bar.

  3. From the Filter window, choose one or more of the following options, based on the information you have:

    To find work packages that

    Do this

    Are in a certain status

    Choose Status.

    Only work packages with the status you choose, appear in the list.

    SHARED Tip If you want to know what a status means, see Update progress and status of work packages assigned to you.

    Belong to a certain discipline

    Choose Discipline.

    Select the required discipline. For example: Electrical, Architecture, or Structure.

    Were planned, created, or edited on a certain date

    Choose Dates and then choose:

    Current: Select the date ranges (This week, Next week, This month, and Next month) for start date and end date from the respective lists. You can also select Custom and enter a specific custom date range.

    Created/Edited: Select the date ranges (This week and This month) for created and edited dates from the respective lists. You can also select Custom and enter a specific custom date range.

    Are assigned to a person

    Choose Users.

    Select one or more persons from the list, whose work packages you want to see.

    If you do not see a user in the list, it might mean that the person is not assigned to any of the work package that you are assigned to.

    Have a specific purpose of creation

    Choose Purpose and select one or more categories of purposes.

  4. After selecting each category, click Left Arrow (Back) to go back to the Filter window.

  5. Click Apply.

  • To clear any filter that you have selected, select Clear within the filter window.

  • To clear all the filters that were applied, click Filter and then click Clear all.

Search a work package based on the name or ID

  1. In the Search box, type all or part of the work package Name or ID.

    As you type, the list of work packages is narrowed down to those that match.

    Searching with IDs is not returning any results.

    IDs are hidden by default. To enable search using IDs:

    1. Go to Scheduling or Production Planning .

    2. Click Preferences > Schedule panel and clear Show name only.

    3. Click Apply.

    You can also search using the Name, instead.

Sort the work packages

  1. Click Sort by and choose a category.

    • New/Modified displays the work packages based on their color coding.

    • Start date displays the work packages based on their start dates.

    • ID displays the work packages based on their IDs.

  2. From the Arrange by options, select Ascending or Descending depending on how you want to arrange the list.

    • Ascending order displays the new work packages first followed by modified and read .

    • Descending order displays read work packages first followed by modified and new .
