This section discusses the integration of warehouse data from Smart Materials to Jovix.

  • Both new and existing warehouses from Smart Materials are integrated with Locations in Jovix.

  • If a warehouse name in Smart Materials is available as a location name in Jovix then, the integration of the warehouse is skipped.

  • All the newly integrated warehouses in Jovix are assigned a common location coordinate (0,0).

Warehouse/location name must not be changed either in Smart Materials or in Jovix.

Triggering points

When a new warehouse is created in Smart Materials.

Only warehouses of projects that have the project default ZI_JX_PROJ defined are integrated with the corresponding Jovix project.

New warehouse integration

  • If a warehouse is created in Smart Materials, a new warehouse is integrated in Jovix.

Log files

You can check the warehouse integration status in the log files that are saved in the path defined in the DBA setting LOG_FILE_DEST. The naming format of warehouse log files is as follows:

JOVIX_ADD_WH_<SMAT WH_ID>_<Date in dd-mm-yyyy_Time in hhmmss>.log

Existing warehouse integration

To start integration of existing warehouses, you must execute the following script on the database server:

execute mi_jvx_pck_wh.integrate_existing_wh;

Log files

You can check the warehouse integration status in the log files that are saved in the path defined in the DBA setting LOG_FILE_DEST. The naming format of warehouse log files is as follows:

JOVIX_ALL_WH_EXISTING_<Date in dd-mm-yyyy_Time in hhmmss>.log
