SDx documents support relationships to many objects in the model.
The document can be related to a facility breakdown item, but it can also be related to a contract, a discipline, an organization, or a work package, and so forth. Document revisions can be related to organizations or work packages, as well as other document revisions.
Document revisions are received from vendors and issued to clients for specified issue purposes. Progress milestones can be used for planning the issue dates and tracking receipt of the revisions against the plan. Users have access through security codes in the plant or project. By realizing the ISDASecurityControlledItem interface definition, security codes can be used in the security rules to filter searches for documents, tags, and other objects.
