To configure an SDx system with Extensibility running in Smart Cloud, you should open a Service Request to the Smart Cloud Support Team so that Smart Cloud server side extensibility is configured for your site. This service request must specify the full SDx site name.
To raise a Service Request, see Contact the Smart Cloud Support Team.
When the configuration is complete, the Advanced Message Queuing Protocol (AMQP) settings are correctly configured for the site, and the connection details for the third-party system are available in the Smart Cloud Portal under the Estate SDx Topics automation tile.
Smart Cloud connection requires some specific configuration for server Extensibility to work in the Cloud. The server connection is configured to use https through port 443, as the Cloud supports Web Sockets. No additional firewall rules need to be provided as the Service Bus is hosted in Smart Cloud. However, if the Service Bus is hosted externally to Smart Cloud, additional firewall rules will need to be configured.
