HxGN SDx Connector for Plant Maintenance integrates with SAP and transfers data between HxGN SDx or SPO/E Core and SAP. For seamless navigation, you must do mapping between HxGN SDx or SPO/E Core properties and SAP attributes.
The mapping is done by sharing the information between HxGN SDx or SPO/E Core and SAP. It requires good coordination between HxGN SDx or SPO/E Core and SAP users who perform this activity.
-
The mapping is done on the HxGN side by modifying the XSLT file and Adhoc report.
-
The mapping is done on the SAP side by modifying the following mapping tables:
-
/INGR/FLDMAPP_V (For Tag to FLOC sync mapping)
-
/INGR/EQMAPP_V (For Asset to Equipment sync mapping)
-
The SAP standard fields are listed in the SAP SYNC Installation and Configuration guide.
An administrator must provide an Excel file with API calls to the SAP basis team, which is the same as the custom tables in SAP:
-
The Excel file is delivered within the product installation folder. It is located at:
For HxGN SDx: [Installation drive]:\Program Files (x86)\SDx Connectors\HxGN SDx Connector for Plant Maintenance\SDx Connector for Plant Maintenance_SDx\Installation Materials_SDx\Example Objects\Exemplary Excel file for SAP Tables Configuration
-
For SPO/E Core: [Installation drive]:\Program Files (x86)\SDx Connectors\HxGN SDx Connector for Plant Maintenance\SDx Connector for Plant Maintenance_SPO\Installation Materials_SPO\Example Objects\Exemplary Excel file for SAP Tables Configuration
-
The API calls that are listed in the Excel file are only for reference. The administrator must identify necessary API calls and test them on Postman before sending them to the SAP team.
-
The tabs in the Excel file provide information corresponding to different tables in SAP.
-
The parameters marked in red are mandatory and must not be modified or removed.
