Use Widgets for InsightView - HxGN SDx - v11 - Installation & Upgrade - Hexagon

The InsightView displays real-time data from various sources (including AspenTech data sources) in a single page within the Web Client. It helps identify if the system is operating healthy, and is very useful during incident investigation.

There are 10 iframe widgets available as a default, and can be assigned to any dashboard related to the Synced tags. Use the following steps to configure the widgets.

• Before you configure the widgets, we recommend that you select SDxConnUpdate and SDxConnView in the Access Groups box.

• You must log on to AspenONE with the required credentials to view the data from AspenTech, and the widgets are displayed until your login expires.

1. Select any one of the dashboards or create a new dashboard. For more information, see Configure an InsightView dashboard.

2. Configure the widgets to display on the dashboard. For each widget, use the following procedure:

   1. Click , and select Choose an existing widget in the Create Widget dialog box.

   2. Click NEXT.

   3. Select any one of the delivered widgets in the Widgets list, and click NEXT.

   What do delivered widgets look like?

   The default widgets are saved as HEX_ASPEN followed by sensor URL.

   Following image shows you some of the widgets that are available as a default.

   

   1. Verify the summary of the selected widget, and click FINISH.

Click  to update the widget on the dashboard.
